AVASK and Amazon are offering a solution for selling partners to send parcels across the UK/EU customs border and into the Amazon FBA network. You can send inventory to the fulfillment centers across the border, get indirect representation and brokerage
services through all-in-one solutions.

Transport is provided by Amazon Transport Services or logistics partner UPS, while AVASK handle the customs clearances. These solutions have been designed to facilitate the movement of inventory – and is not designed for B2C shipments.

How does it work?

1. Get VAT ready

You’ll need a valid VAT number in the receiving country. If you already have it, skip this step. If you need one, AVASK can register and file for you. Our tax compliance team are ready to handle your EU and UK VAT obligations.

2. Complete onboarding

Enrol with your preferred cross-border shipping solution and complete onboarding with respective service providers.

3. Create a shipment

Using the Send to Amazon workflow, provide customs details and book your shipment collection. You’ll receive confirmation that your shipment documentation has been approved.

4. Delivery

Your goods will be shipped to a fulfilment centre across the border. Your respective brokerage service provider will invoice you directly for customs clearance (including duties and VAT).
