ToggleAVASK and e-Comas are back from Las Vegas, where we experienced what was undoubtedly the biggest and most dynamic Prosper Show to date.
Prosper was once an Amazon‑centric event, but this year’s show reflected the broader evolution of e-commerce. Marketplaces like Walmart, Shopify, TikTok Shop, eBay, Shein, Temu, and AliExpress made significant appearances, underscoring a more diverse ecosystem. With its new venue, the spectacular Wynn Resort, Prosper also added a fresh dose of Las Vegas glamour.
Here are our seven biggest takeaways from Prosper 2026.

Toggle1. AVASK and e-Comas took flight
At Booth 341, AVASK and e-Comas delivered one of the show’s most talked‑about experiences. Our luxury airline–themed booth immersed visitors in their “global flight path,” helping them navigate the journey of international expansion.
We also took to the stage: Alexandra Ramirez (AVASK) and Jérôme de Guigné (e-Comas) led a packed session, “Passport for International Growth,” focusing on how U.S. brands can expand beyond their home market.
The session focused on how U.S. brands can move beyond growth plateaus by expanding internationally. “U.S. sellers aren’t struggling to sell, they’re struggling to protect margin while scaling,” Alexandra noted. “Geographic diversification is now a risk-management strategy, not just about growth.”
They highlighted that selling in the EU opens up access to over two dozen markets through seamless cross-border commerce. “Cross-border purchasing is mainstream in Europe,” Jérôme explained. “The opportunity isn’t just new consumers, it’s finding new routes to existing consumers.”
2. Women in e-commerce Came Together
The ever-popular Women’s Meet Up kicked off day one, providing women across the e-commerce industry a platform to connect, inspire, and empower each other.
Alexandra Ramirez from AVASK observed: “What stood out most at the Women’s Meet Up was the shift from conversation to confidence. These aren’t just discussions anymore, women in this space are stepping into leadership roles, building global brands, and supporting each other in ways that are actively shaping the future of eCommerce.”
Katarina Perović, Co-founder of HR firm eHigher, shared, “I heard so many inspiring stories about the fears women in this industry face, shared openly by incredible boss women who have already paved the way.”
Jessica Wright, who leads the Women’s Meet Up, shared: “My favorite moment at Prosper this year was being stopped on the show floor by someone who attended the Women’s Meet Up, thanking me for hosting the event, and telling me it gave her the confidence she needed to run a booth for her first Prosper. And then it happened again, and again.”

3. Tech Evolution Is Powering Global Trade
Clarisix, the new six-stream e-commerce data platform from e-Comas, held a creative soft launch at Prosper with ‘the first ever paper Amazon Analytics product’—‘Clarisix Analog’… a notebook.
“We wanted to do something fun to drive up some hype before Clarisix’s launch later this year,” says Claudiu Clement, Head of e-Comas Technology. “The real product isn’t paper, of course. But there’s a lot to be said for going offline – and it was great to offer a free version of the product. We had a lot of fun at the show with it.”
While e-Comas showcased the future of marketplace analytics, AVASK highlighted its own evolution as a leading tech‑enabled provider of cross-border compliance solutions.
As global trade accelerates in a technology‑driven era, businesses face increasing obligations across VAT, customs, EPR, product safety, and regulatory frameworks in multiple jurisdictions. This is where AVASK steps in.
AVASK’s technology platform integrates these disciplines into a single, scalable system, enabling enterprises to manage risk across global supply chains, streamline cross-border compliance and accelerate international expansion with confidence.
Together, AVASK and e-Comas demonstrated how data intelligence and compliance technology form the foundation of sustainable, margin‑protecting global expansion.
4. e-Comas won the AI Hackathon!
Congratulations to Pasha Knish, Head of e-Comas Marketplace US, and his team for winning the Prosper AI Hackathon.
The AI Hackathon challenged teams of strangers to collaborate on a concept, presentation, and basic app, using dummy data, in under an hour. Pasha’s team built a ‘Zombie Slayer AI’ tool to identify slow-moving inventory and automatically generate profitable bundle strategies to accelerate sales.
As always, AI was a major talking point, but the conversation has shifted: it’s no longer about how AI will disrupt the industry, but about the specific ways it’s already being implemented.
5. Jeff Cohen on the “Disappearing Middle”
Jeff Cohen’s keynote address was a highlight. Now Chief Business Development Officer at Skai, he discussed the declining number of sellers joining Amazon: only 165,000 new sellers joined in 2025, a 44% decrease from the previous year and the lowest in a decade.
By contrast, there are now over 100,000 sellers making more than $1 million, up 67% over the past four years.
“The middle is actually disappearing,” Jeff said. “You’re either becoming a leader, capturing more traffic, more sales, and more profit, or you’re falling behind. Good enough isn’t good enough anymore.”
He also highlighted Walmart’s rapid growth, now twice as fast as Amazon’s, a shift reflected in Walmart’s prominent presence at the show this year.
“Walmart is clearly winning market share,” he said. “Together, Amazon and Walmart now represent 89% of total retail media dollars spent. There are two dominant players; everyone else is competing for the remaining 11%.”
6. Gen Z’s Influence Is Accelerating
Peter Pernot-Day, Head of Strategic and Corporate Affairs at Shein, spoke about Gen Z, a demographic expected to amass $1.2 trillion in purchasing power by 2030, surpassing boomers by 2029.
He explained, “If you want to reach customers under 30, they’re not using Google to find your products; they’re using social media. Engaging video content is how they interact with and discover brands.
“We want to be part of that conversation, so we have aggressively moved into live-streaming.”
7. Dr Bronner’s on DTC vs Amazon
A standout panel was ‘Dr. Bronner’s Journey from DTC to Amazon,’ where Dina Hemminger, Director of eCommerce at Dr. Bronner’s, discussed how consumers shop their values, and how brands can communicate those values on Amazon.
She noted: “If you look at our bottle, we’re not concise, we have a lot to say, and we use every bit of space to say it. In DTC, you have more space and attention. On Amazon, you don’t.
“We are working toward getting people’s attention within those milliseconds that we have on Amazon.”
The Prosper Show returns to the Wynn Resort Las Vegas on 2-4 March 2027.
