According to Amazon’s announcement, this update is effective from Thursday 26 September 2024, which means:
- the EPR Services on Amazon programme is closed to new sellers wanting to register for EPR
- Amazon sellers already using this programme will be informed by Amazon of the next steps
- Amazon sellers using this programme need to transfer across to their existing service providers – who will take care of EPR filings and representation
- if you’re already with AVASK, we’ll send you detailed guidance on next steps

What do you need to do next?
EPR Services on Amazon will cease operations on 31 December, so make sure to have either your existing provider, or a replacement provider, in place to seamlessly take over and ensure your continued EPR compliance in Europe.
What’s the 3-step transfer process from EPR Services on Amazon?
First, you need your Variation Letter of Engagement. You should have already received an email containing your new Variation Letter of Engagement with AVASK. This will come from our AdobeSign e-signing platform.
Next, after digitally signing your letter, you need to set up your payment with AVASK. You’ll then be automatically redirected to set up your payment on Stripe. Complete this as soon as possible to ensure uninterrupted service.
Finally, connect your Seller Central account to our software: Connect to AVASK’s powerful tax calculation engine, INFINITI. Simply connect to your Amazon Seller Central account and we’ll do the rest!

- You got the letter and signed it, but either navigated away from the setup page on Stripe, or weren’t redirected to it
How do I connect AVASK to my Amazon account?
As part of our transfer process, making this connection is the final step – sign the T&Cs, set up payment, then you’ll be sent a link to make the connection.
If you’re transitioning to AVASK via Amazon, the only thing that changes is what’s in our T&Cs. They won’t be exactly the same as Amazon, but they do mean less involvement with Amazon. Otherwise, you’ll see that everything is in much the same order as before.
When do we get emails about the transfer?
Throughout October, we’re sending out a transfer letter outlining T&Cs and what to expect from the transition. You can expect to see the same service as you’re already getting from Amazon.
