Prosper Show 2025 recap: Viva Las Vegas!

We hit Vegas in style this year for the annual Prosper Show, which is a huge event for marketplace sellers.

As one of our delegates put it, “from the sheer scale of the expo floor to the depth of insight in every panel and the wide variety of different solutions on offer, Prosper offered a masterclass on how sellers, service providers and industry veterans come together to share knowledge and solve problems (and have a good time while doing it!)”

Not all e-commerce heroes wear capes, but for Prosper the dynamic trio donned theirs with pride. Why you… shouldn’t expand internationally?

We decided to shake things up by discussing a topic you might not expect: “Reasons Why You Should NOT Expand Your Brand Internationally.” In a lively panel discussion, we explored why sellers think they shouldn’t expand globally. We talked about the genuine challenges of going global, and shared practical insights that sellers could implement.

The main takeaway was that international expansion is a must for ambitious sellers – unless you don’t want more revenue, reach and global success. And if you do, AVASK and its strategic partners have a vast pool of resources to help you achieve that.

Why is now such a good time to expand into Europe?

We met many US-based sellers eager to start their expansion journey into Europe and other markets. With the ever-changing tariff landscape, exploring Europe is becoming a more attractive option. Europe – the world’s second biggest trading bloc – alone has just over a billion monthly visits, coming from the UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy. Using established marketplaces like Amazon lets you move into established and emerging markets with relative ease, and with the newer, smaller markets such as Ireland, you can gain the advantage by moving quickly and establishing your brand with little existing competition.
