Yes, if you’re a non-UK established company selling in the UK, you must register for VAT.
If your business is based outside the UK and you’re selling goods to UK customers, you’ll need to register for VAT immediately, as there’s no minimum sales threshold to start with.
How have the distance selling rules changed for EU online retailers selling in the UK post-Brexit?
Post-Brexit, the distance selling rules no longer apply.
Goods are now subject to import VAT and customs duties, unless it is below £135 – then it is only subject to sales VAT.
